Where Will You Spend Eternity?

If you were to die today, are you 100% certain that you would go to Heaven? If not, the Bible tells us you can “know that ye have eternal life…” – 1 John 5:13

Theses following truths from God’s Word will help in knowing where you will spend Eternity.

We Have All Sinned

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23

God’s Word reminds us that we are all sinners. The word “sin” means to miss the mark, or “come short” of perfection, by disobeying God. At one time or another, we have all chosen to disobey God.

Sin Has a Penalty

“For the wages (payment)of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal like through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

The payment for your sin is death and separation from God in a place the Bible calls Hell. This is fate of every person who has not believed on Jesus Christ as Savior

“He that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” – John 3:36

Jesus Paid the Penalty

“But God commendeth (proved) his loved toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

God proved his love for you by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sin. He was buried and rose from the dead three days later.

Believe on Jesus Today

“He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” – John 5:24

To believe on Jesus Christ as Savior means to have faith that He died for you, paid the price for your sin, and is the only way to Heaven. You can express your belief on Jesus through prayer.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” – Romans 10:9
